Throwin’ it Out There

So, my running progression has stalled. I think I need new motivation.

I am so tempted to sign up for a half marathon just so that I have to get out there and train. The only issue I have with committing to this is that the 1/2 mary I want to do is the end of May. That means, using the training plan I have picked out, I would have to start hard-core training in January. In Michigan. Where it is snowy and cold. Am I crazy? Would it be stupid to start a training plan on a treadmill (and do about half of it that way)?

I know that I am more likely to stick with this if there is a race in my future (or at least that is how I have stayed motivated with my past 5k’s).


Help! Any opinions would be greatly valued!!!
