Finally Friday!

What a week it has been! So glad it’s Friday (and I only had to work half of a day!) Went out for a run last night, and it was not pretty. My total distance was 2.65 miles, but at about 1.7 miles, I was exhausted, I couldn’t keep my pace even, every step took so much energy. I did run/walk for the rest and was so mad at myself! I think part of my problem is that I haven’t been drinking enough water and it is getting warmer outside in the evenings when I run. I ended up running a total of about 2.1 miles. I hope I feel better tomorrow at my 5K!

Dinner last night was  a yummy concoction of what I found in the pantry: Whole wheat penne pasta, Ragu Light Basil pasta sauce, 2 small cans of mushrooms, about 1/3 of a bag of Morning Star Crumbles, a little garlic, a little reduced fat Parmesan cheese, topped with fat free mozzarella goodness!100_0739

And I had some cantaloupe.100_0738

Breakfast today: Oatmeal with brown sugar

Snack: Banana

Lunch: Fat Free Cottage Cheese with Cantaloupe and a Fiber One Oats and Apple Streusel Bar.100_0742

I don’t know what the afternoon holds, besides going to get my race packet. Have a glorious weekend!!
